From a career in banking, to being a full time mum of three children and now a business owner with a creative career in visual arts practice, Julie Peadon love making art accessible to everyone. She is known by some as “the crazy art lady” because of her passion, energy, fun and enthusiasm for art and life generally. With Julie nothing is impossible so long as she gets her three shots of coffee- one for each of her children!
In our Empowered Conversation, we talk about Julie’s journey from a career in banking, to becoming a single parent and a successful business owner offering people a space to safely explore important issues and challenges such as mental health, diversity and inclusion. Just as art offered Julie a safe space to evolve from building stability to living her purpose, Julie offers her students a window into possibility and hope and reminds us that mistakes are an important part of life.
